In November 2013, the Dutch Kennel Club has decided that any pedigree dog, descending out of matings after June 1st, 2014 have to be parentage verified. The according agreement has been signed with the Van Haeringen Group by the first half-year. Certagen, the for parentage verifications accredited lab of the Van Haeringen Group, operates the tests.
